The mooring buoys are constructed by resilient closed cell polyethylene /EVA foam around the inner central steelwork, covered by polyurethane (PU) outer kin. The resilient closed cell polyethylene/EVA foam core guarantees self-fendering and unsinkable even in case of damage. And self-colored polyurethane elastomer skin is resistant to abrasion and ultra violet rays degradation. For extreme service environment, the polyurethane elastomer skin can be reinforced by nylon to protective coating has higher tear strength, making the buoy long lasting and virtually maintenance free.
We also make the rotary molded Polyethylene shells mooring buoys with filled polyurethane foam core.
Features of Mooring Buoys
Buoder mooring buoys have significant advantages, like easier to handle, better corrosion resistance, low maintenance, never sink or burst, self-fendering withstands vessel impact.
-- Unsinkable closed foam core
-- Self-fendering with high impact absorption capacity
-- Reinforced PU protective out skin
-- Variety end fitting option
-- Easy storage and transport
-- Variety of high visibility colors and size available
-- Reflective tape and navigation light available
Cylindrical Mooring Buoys
The cylindrical mooring buoy is one kind representative mooring buoys.
The cylindrical mooring buoys can be supplied in chain-through type, or equipped with pad-eye, crucifix, quick release hook, and maker or navigation equipment. Other variety end fittings are available to suit every case application. All end fittings are made of galvanized or painted steel to resist seawater corrosion.
